Dr. Mahaveer Danigond who is a doctor by profession, was born in village and completed his MBBS in the year 1976 further DCH and MS(Master of surgeon) from TATA memorial hospital in Mumbai in the year 1983 and was working as a surgeon, with a big lavish existence and prestigious practice basking in the glory of name, fame and affluence in the grand city, his heart panicked for the poor and needy of his village and he decided to be back to his home town where he could render his service for the betterment and development of the society in terms of health and wellness.Within no time he set up a hospital in a small room serving hundreds of semi urban and rural people of the region.

Danigond, stood like a rock and a backbone by his side adapting and adjusting to the new way of life that was far more challenging than any challenges that they had faced so far, climbing on the ladder of success Further, Padma Hospital is established by Dr. Mahaveer S Danigond in the year 1983 to benefit the poor and middle class people of Terdal town and surrounding areas, has been providing good services to the people for the past 39 years, and has earned a place in the hearts of the people. Smt. Pratibha M. Danigond (wife) who belongs to reputed family of Patravali, from Dharwad, she was gold medalist in M.Sc home science from Agricultural University Dharwad and has worked as a Lecturer in Agricultural University Dharwad, working as a Managing Trustee of SDM Trust's Terdal since 2003, Proprietor of Padma Indane Gas Service at Terdal and even she is actively involved in social activities.
Dr. Pushpadant M. Danigond (Son) as a Managing Director of Danigond Group Of Institutes. He has completed his M.B.B.S from prestigious SDM Medical College, Dharwad. Dr. Pushpadant M. Danigond is presently associated as consultant at Padma Hospital and also a Proprietor of Padma Indane Gas Service, Terdal.
